A. Technical & Design Responsibilities
Own the complete design lifecycle: requirement analysis → concept design → detailed engineering → validation → production documentation.
Create and approve 3D models, assemblies, detailed manufacturing drawings, and BOMs.
Ensure designs meet performance parameters across:
Ultrasonic cleaning technology
Mechanical design of tanks, chambers, structures, piping, jigs & fixtures
Electrical & instrumentation integration
Surface treatment process requirements
Conduct design reviews with cross-functional teams.
Ensure manufacturability (DFM), reliability, and safety (DFA, FMEA).
Maintain a strong library of standard designs, modules, and sub-assemblies for reusability.
B. Process & Productivity
Establish and enforce design standards, templates, and quality guidelines.
Define and streamline workflows within the Design Department.
Introduce automation in repetitive design tasks where possible.
Reduce design cycle time through modularization and standardization.
Implement systematic document control and revision management.
C. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with:
Sales for technical proposals and preliminary layouts
Project Execution for understanding customer requirements
Production to resolve manufacturability issues QC to ensure compliance
Procurement for component optimization and vendor alignment
Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, and design clarifications.
D. People Management
Lead, mentor, and develop the design engineering team.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery.
Conduct performance reviews and facilitate continuous skill development.
Maintain a culture of precision, discipline, and engineering excellence.
E. Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to reduce cost through design changes.
Implement Kaizen, root-cause analysis, and value engineering practices.
Benchmark Ralsonics’ products against global competitors and update designs accordingly.

Required Technical Skill & Competencies
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Mechatronics.
Strong command over SolidWorks (mandatory), AutoCAD.
Deep understanding of mechanical design, structural design, and sheet metal fabrication.
Familiarity with:
Ultrasonic technology (advantage)
Pumping systems, filtration systems, piping
PLC/electrical integration
Heat transfer principles
Experience in design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
B. Managerial Skills
5–12 years of experience in design engineering; minimum 2–3 years in a leadership role.
Strong project management capabilities.
Excellent communication skills—ability to explain technical topics clearly.
High ownership, discipline, and problem-solving ability.

Job Description
The Design Manager is responsible for leading and managing all engineering design activities at Ralsonics—from concept to final manufacturing release. This role ensures that every machine, plant, and sub-assembly is designed accurately, safely, cost-effectively, and in alignment with
Ralsonics’ global vision of building world-class ultrasonic and industrial cleaning systems. You will manage a team of design engineers, standardize design workflows, ensure manufacturability, work closely with production & project execution, and drive continuous improvement in design processes.
- Use 3D CAD software to create models and drawings of machinery
- Develop customized solutions after interfacing with customers
- Oversee project management along with technicians
- Develop prototypes as per the requirements of the marketing team
- Perform testing on engineering prototypes
- Confirm system capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods
- Ensure components and assemblies adhere to industry standards

Position Overview
Ralsonics is looking for motivated and high-potential Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) to join its core engineering and manufacturing operations. This role is designed for fresh engineering graduates who wish to build strong fundamentals in industrial manufacturing, ultrasonic technology, and engineering execution.
The six-month training period will evaluate the trainee’s ability to apply engineering principles and First Principles thinking to real-world industrial challenges. Successful candidates will be considered for confirmation into an Engineer / Executive role based on performance and business requirements
Candidate Requirements
Education
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics
- 0–1 year of experience (Freshers are encouraged to apply)
Technical Orientation
- Strong interest in manufacturing, machinery, and industrial systems
- Strong analytical and costing skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with design, production, and sales teams
Professional Discipline
- High standards of punctuality, responsibility, and execution.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD/SolidWorks is a plus
Communication Skills
- Ability to document work clearly and communicate effectively with seniors and peers
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand technical cleaning/surface treatment requirements.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to develop customized equipment solutions.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, cost estimations, and detailed specifications.
- Interpret RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents accurately.
- Present proposals and solutions to clients in a clear, value-driven manner.
- Support sales team in technical discussions, site visits, and customer meetings.
- Maintain proposal database, costing sheets, and standard documents.
- Coordinate internal review and approval processes for proposals.
- Support negotiations and order finalization in alignment with company goals.
Training & Compensation
Training Period:
6 Months – During the training period, a monthly stipend of ₹20,000 will be paid. Based on individual performance, candidates may be considered for absorption into the company payroll earlier or upon completion of the six-month training period, as full-time employees with an enhanced salary structure.
Final Evaluation:
Performance during the training period will determine confirmation into a permanent proposal Engineer / Executive role with a revised salary structure.
